Writing a Novella

For my personal project, I am going to write a novella. A novella is a short novel or a long short story. I am going to incorporate themes and motifs from fictional and nonfictional literature.

         Incorporate themes and motifs from other literature
         Make setting and plot original
         Have a moral to the story
         Use literary devices.
         Research how to write a good story
         Avoid plagiarizing other books but incorporate themes from them
         Write about the making of the novella in process journal
         Design a cover for the book
